Globally, we are in troubling times. The US credit freeze has catapulted the world into a global recession. I will try to make sense of what has happened and what the future holds.

I have authored, co-authored, or edited 7 books, five on economic development, one on government information management, and one on cities in global history. Most of my published articles are on economic development and public finance.

I’d like to thank you for informing me that you have analyzed our company,Pinetree Garden Seeds, as part of your seed catalog ratings. My husband and I spent some great quality time this at home this morning reviewing your information and pondering how we can use your information to make ourselves an even better company. Obviously our pricing can’t be beat and the catalog, although probably a little folksy for your taste deserves some more comparison by us with the other competitors. I’m not sure of the average order dollar cost by the other thirteen companies, but ours is $35.00; so I would think the shipping comparisons would be more informative if you used that number, particularly since several companies shift their increase at the $19.95 or so mark. If people are drawn to us by your posting, I hope they let us know. I hope you have a wonderful garden this year in your short Massachusettes’ growing season. We are next door in Maine. Again, thanks.
